Publicity

BSCreview is interested in reviewing all manner of books, graphic novels, magazines, DVDS, comics, films, games, toys, music, and television shows. Please contact us for address information to send us items for review. If you are an author it is more than likely we are in contact with your publisher or even your publicist but a nudge to us to query them about your books is most welcome. We are always interested in hearing from new people and talking about hosting projects.

We do not review self-published books, however we are interested in self-published comics and graphic novels. A review is not guaranteed just because a book is sent to us, we are sent hundreds of books every month.

BSC has hosted exclusive excerpts from books by publishers like Del Rey, Bantam, Tor, Orbit, Gollancz, Night Shade Books, Pan Macmillan, Prime Books, Solaris Books, PS Publishing, Humdrumming Books, Sense Five Press, Norilana Books, AIO, Tachyon, Pocket Books, The Black Library, Monkey Brain Books, Soft Skull Press, Overlook Press, Chizine Publications and more!  Please contact us if you’d like BSCreview to host an excerpt. BSC is no longer interested in hosting excerpts unless it in concert with other planned features or advertising combinations.

BSC hosts several contest every month for our readers and have done so for several years now. Most of the time these are in form of signed books, DVDS, or limited miniatures, but are interested in hearing about any and all  possibilities. We have become rather selective about what we host in regards to contests, but please do feel free to run it by us.

Contributors and Content

Tired of putting up great content that nobody ever finds? Review for us. BSCreview is a GoogleNews site–if you write about it at BSC, it will be read.

If you are is interested in reviewing for us, drop us a line. We supply the books you review, often times well before they are available to the public. If you just saw a new movie, television show or DVD and want a venue to host a review let us know. You have the scoop on video games? A music lover? Something else? Let us know if you want to talk about it with a short bit on who your are and a sample representative of what we can expect from you. Please do not contact us to just to send you info-we are not applying to you. We’d love to host choice articles.  Please contact us if you have one that you think would be one of interest.  We’d like them to be exclusive, but will consider material previously published in print. We are especially interested in convention reports of any kind and any critical pieces.

BSCreview is also interested in anybody who wants to start a column – pitch us an idea, we’d love to hear it!
