Maria Bello to Law & Order: SVU

A History of Violence actress Maria Bello will guest star on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. The casting news finds us not long after we reported that actor Henry Ian Cusick of the series Lost would have a recurring role on the show. According to the report, Bello is slated for a 2-episode stint, playing “a woman with a secret past that Detective Benson is investigating.”

Bello, who recently worked on big screen projects, comedy; The Grown Ups, and drama; The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, will also appear in Abduction, the thriller starring Taylor Lautner as a young man who discovers his parents are not who he thought they were, quite literally. Lily Collins of The Blind Side will join Bello and Lautner in Abduction and in true Hollywood coincidence, Elisabeth Rohm, formerly of Law and Order, will portray Lautner’s biological mother.
