BSC contributor Jilly from Philly (who is not, and perhaps never has been in Philly) seems to like ABC’s new show Happy Town, so I’ve put it on my master digital promo rolodex and been bringing you the advance sneak peeks made available to us by ABC. This is a batch of promo images from ‘This Is Why We Stay’, the episode scheduled for a June 9th air date. I’m not sure if anybody needs any reason beyond Amy Acker and Lauren German to watch anything, but I’m hearing the good vibe about Happy Town, and may have to check it out myself. I’m told we may be bringing some Happy Town special features soon, so be on the lookout!

Remember, we also have promo images from ‘Slight of Hand’, the next episode of Happy Town, which BSC will be bringing you the word on, just like we have the first three episodes, including this week’s Polly Wants a Crack at Her.

Episode Synopsis

HAPPY TOWN – “This Is Why We Stay” – While the heat is on Tommy to find the elusive Magic Man, a skittishly fearful Rachel wants to flee Haplin because of her kidnapping experience. The pressure she gets from John Haplin to remember her ordeal upsets her even more. And in Merritt Grieves’ quest to find out about Rachel’s kidnapping, he reveals a long-kept secret to her. Meanwhile Det. Hobbs is convinced that Greggy Stiviletto knows who severed the hand that was found in a loaf of bread at the Our Daily bakery; Henley returns the goat-handled hammer to Peggy Haplin for a large sum of money, but in the process gets a real feel for the reach of the town matriarch’s overwhelming power; and Georgia and Andrew’s blissful day in the woods takes a shocking turn, on “Happy Town”.
