The recipients of the 2009 Bram Stoker Awards were announced several hours ago, an via twitter I scraped what I think is the winner’s list (sorry it’s early). The award in annually given out by the HWA, and beyond the specific category honors related to the previous year’s releases, Tanith Lee and James Herbert were both named Grand Masters, while Brian Lumley, William F. Nolan and Basil Copper were recognized for their Lifetime Achievement (personally, I’d prefer Grand Mastership). Have not read a single one of these, but maybe it will serve as a pointer for those who were on the ledge.
