‘The Wolfman’ Super Bowl Commercial

I have to admit being slack on The Wolfman coverage, as there has been some sweet posters that I haven’t had the time to note that are even more awesome than the ones we have noted (which are pretty damn cool to begin with). The film is coming from David Self (Road to Perdition, Thirteen Days) and Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en, Sleepy Hollow) and directed by Joe Johnston (The Rocketeer, Jumanji, Hidalgo), who we talked about yesterday regarding the upcoming Captain America movie.

Typically a film like this draws zero interest from me, I’m just not a diehard classic horror fan, thus if you tell me werewolves, vampires, or zombies are in a film, I tend to get bored. The Wolfman has a very nice cast though in Emily Blunt, Anthony Hopkins, Hugo Weaving, and Benicio del Toro; and the looks we have received before this spot via two trailers (a whole bunch of clips and spots have been released since, but like I said before, slack). We’ve also posted a gallery of images (one of which – of Blunt – looks like it made it to the poster) back in August. The Wolfman hits theaters this weekend!

Earlier today I also posted the Super Bowl spots for Alice in Wonderland and The Prince of Persia (both from Disney); and earlier in the week the commercials for Shutter Island, Robin Hood, and The Last Airbender–so make sure you check those out!
