Kristen Stewart – The Yellow Handkerchief Clip and Pics!

MTV has rolled out some fresh new looks from The Yellow Handkerchief in the form of a clip and a couple of new promo images. An indie film Starring Kristen Stewart of Twilight fame, what we’ve had so far from the film is a clip we posted from December. The clip and one image is interaction between Stewart and co-star Eddie Redmayne (Tess Of The D’Urbervilles) while the other is of Stewart alone (though looking rather free). They are joined in the cast by William Hurt and Maria Bello, in a film that will get its limited release next month, on February 12th.

Stewart’s keeping busy, even before the Twilight Breaking Dawn (the fourth chapter of the Twilight Saga) news from yesterday. Fans will also be able to see her in biopic, The Runaways, where she portrays Joan Jett (see the poster, clip and trailer!) Welcome to the Rileys (see in an image of her with co-star James Gandolfini and a separate set of promos).

Bottom line is that there’s just going to be a lot more Kristen Stewart in 2010, even without the promotional onslaught that I’m expecting to start soon for Twilight Eclipse.

Film Synopsis:

A love story at its core, “The Yellow Handkerchief” is about three strangers of two generations bound by loneliness who reach out to one another. After embarking on a road trip through post Katrina Louisiana, their relationships forge and change in a myriad of ways, leading to the possibility of second chances.

Brett Hanson (William Hurt) dealing with a painful past, crosses paths with a lonely and troubled teenager Martine (Kristen Stewart) and her new ‘ride’ Gordy (Eddie Redmayne). The trio head out together, each motivated by reasons of their own.

Martine yearns to escape her family, Gordy hopes to get closer to Martine and Brett must decide whether he wants to return to the uncertainty of the life and the woman he left behind, his ex-wife May (Maria Bello). A deeply humanistic and emotionally rich film.
