Fall of the Hulks: Red Hulk #1 – Preview

Comic Books, Excerpt | Jay Tomio | January 22, 2010 at 4:26 am

Friday means that I go through the Marvel’s weekly batch of previews and pull out the BSC-approved one for our reader’s viewing pleasure (got to BSCkids for choice all-ages comics from the Mighty Ones!)! Fall of the Hulks: Red Hulk #1 caught my eye because it’s written by Jeff Parker, who I think needs to be flipping a coin with Matt Fraction to see who writes the next Marvel event. Parker is the mind Agents of Atlas (both the series and mini that came out awhile ago), and you know how I love that series!

This has a cover by Ed McGuinness, who probably was specifically born to draw Hulk covers, and penciled by Carlos Rodriguez (check out Thunderbolts, another BSC-approved book). The preview below is seven pages from the issue heading to stands on January 27th, 2010. All I know is that Hulk has some kind of heat-ray vision going on in the cover, and that’s sweet.

Issue Synopsis - FALL OF THE HULKS continues in this all-new series! What secrets will be revealed? What plans has the RED HULK been hiding from everyone? And what does all of this have to do with the COSMIC HULK robot!? Don’t miss this thrilling first chapter by JEFF PARKER (Agents of Atlas, The Hood) and CARLOS RODRIGUES (Thunderbolts)! Rated T …$3.99
