The Mentalist to Syndication on TNT

I might be a day late to this party, but the news is so good that I figured I would bring it to the table anyway. The Mentalist is going to be going to TNT in syndication. The cable channel TNT has landed the exclusive off-network syndication rights and they will be launched in 2012.
I love the fact that the rights to this show were sold so quickly, and it deserves it. The Mentalist is one of my favorite shows in the genre because it has humor, love interests, and makes you think a bit. Simon Baker as Patrick Jane just kills it, but really the interaction between Tim Kang, Amanda Righetti, and Owain Yeoman is what does it for me. Hopefully this means that the show has a long life ahead of it at CBS as well.
