Sean Faris joins The Vampire Diaries

The Vampire Diaries adds another to their cast (but still no Meredith for Elena!) as EW reports that Sean Faris is being brought on board, joining the recently announced Malese Jow on the show.
Farris will play “Ben”, who is described in the report as “an ex-high school football star-turned-bartender at the Mystic Grill.” There is also talk of a romance between him and a female cast member (whether already on the show or not isn’t specified). Faris is also going to be in the upcoming The King of Fighters film.
Make sure you check out the BSC review of the most recent episode (which guest starred Arielle Kebbel). The Vampire Diaries airs on Thursdays at 8pm. It stars Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, and Ian Somerhalder.
