Robert Pattinson – Twilight Breaking Dawn by Gus Van Sant?

Look farther ahead, even beyond the David Slade directed Twilight Eclipse (the third film in the franchise due out next year), when talking to MTV Robert Pattinson gave a preference (while “revealing” a possible filming location) regarding who he’d like to see direct Breaking Dawn. His choice? Gus Van Sant.

Before going on, it should be noted that Summit Entertainment has not officially announced that Breaking Dawn will even be made. The video above shows Pattinson giving his reasons behind the choice. Van Sant (who last month we learned is collaborating with Bret Easton Ellis on Golden Suicides) is an Academy Award nominated director of films like Good Will Hunting and Milk–and has taken home Cannes top honors.
