Hayden Panettiere and HMS

Amy Holden Jones, the writer of Mystic Pizza (classic btw), is going to be joining the CW for the medical school drama HMS. Jones will be the writer-executive producer of the show, which is being played up as a younger audience Grey’s Anatomy. HMS is also the producing debut of Hayden Panettiere from Heroes who will be co-executive producer of the show.

My two thoughts on this. One, forget the medical drama, give me some medical comedies like Scrubs, and two hopefully for Hayden the show works out to be something special. How much more hip does a medical drama need to be? The show will be about some students at Harvard Medical School, as long as it does not have blood and guts aspect to it, I will give it a shoot.
