Anna Faris, Justin Timberlake, Dan Aykroyd in Yogi Bear

It was a while ago that it was announced that Yogi Bear from Hanna-Barbera would be getting made into a movie, but nothing more was known.  Well we did know that Ash Brannon would be the director and that it would be a mix of live-action and CGI animation.  I would think a bit like the Scooby Doo movies.  Variety is reporting who they are in negotiations with to join the cast of the movie.

Anna Faris, Justin Timberlake and Dan Aykroyd are all in negotiations to join the cast of the movie.  The Yogi Bear movie will now be directed by Eric Brevig and the script was written by Brad Copeland.  It seems that Aykroyd would play the Yogi role, with Boo Boo going to Timberlake.  Faris would play a documentary filmmaker, but not much is know about the story itself.  One is going to have to venture a guess that it will have some picnic basket moments though.  I actually like the idea of the movie and the casting.  What do you think?
