24 – Gregory Itzin returns

Gregory Itzin 24We got the Season 8 trailer for 24 last week, and now via the LA Times it looks like the Fox show will return a familiar face in Gregory Itzin’s Charles Logan. This is the latest in casting news for the season that already includes the additions of Katee, Sackhoff, Rami Malek, Julian Morris, Hrach Titizian and Stephen Root.

We last saw Itzin (who was the president) flatlining in Season 6. The report indicates that his return will come in the form of being tapped by the current president (played by Cherry Jones) to assist during times of diplomatic crisis.

24 returns to Fox on Sunday, January 17th.
