Sasha Alexander joins Angie Harmon in Rizzoli

Not too long ago we told you that Angie Harmon is set to star in a TNT pilot called Rizzoli, a potential series based on the novels of Tess Gerritsen. Now, THR is reporting that the the bulk of the remaining roles have been cast, which includes Sasha Alexander.
Along with Alexander joining Harmon, Rizzoli will feature Bruce McGill, Jordan Bridges and Lee Thompson Young. Alexander will be remembered by NCIS fans, as Special Agent Caitlin Todd, and if you’re older, as a recurring in Dawson’s Creek (damn, you’re old if you saw that show now!). She also starred in Kevin Williamson’s Wasteland.
In Rizzoli she’s set be medical examiner Maura Isles, the other half of a crime solving tandem with Harmon.
