Radha Mitchell stars in ‘The Quickening’ A&E Pilot
News, Television | Jay Tomio | October 13, 2009 at 4:10 amYou may have seen Mitchell recently in the Surrogates (check the BSC review), and now A&E has cast her to star in the pilot of a new series called The Quickening.

THR quotes this series synopsis:
…centers on Maggie Bird (Mitchell), a homicide detective assigned to a desk job after it is discovered that she suffers from a bipolar disorder.
“Her illness makes her brilliant as a detective but makes her personal life hell,” “So she is teetering on and off her medications.” -A&E senior vp drama programming Tana Nugent Jamieson
The pilot is written by Jennifer Salt (Nip/Tuck)
I liked Mitchell in Finding Neverland and Pitch Black (which honestly are two of my favorite films).
