Duane Swierczynski’s Expiration Date
Books, News | Jay Tomio | October 26, 2009 at 8:29 amAt the BSC we like Duane Swierczynski (who possesses the name I’ve most often cut/paste at BSC). We like him so much that we forgive him for using the title of a Tim Powers novel. We know nothing about the novel except that it warrants Tomio’s Want List consideration, and what he just revealed at his blog.
Swierczynski points out that Expiration Date is now listed at Amazon, which means that you now can both get your pre-order on, and peep out the cover.
Swierczynski then adds mystery to the mystery:
But there is some cool news to share in the coming weeks, including the name of the artist who has contributed a dozen stunning black and white illustrations to the book, as well as Expiration’s slightly unusual origin story.
If he’s not tellin’ the artist has to be hot, or else up being somebody I’m going to have to ask Lindenmuth about. Anyways, always good news to see that the wheelman is busy. Everybody also needs to go check out his Iron Fist work as well, as he and Travel Foreman are putting it down, and I think have eclipsed the work by Brubaker, Fraction and Aja on the character, that was frankly the best that Danny had ever been done.
