Arielle Kebbel in Vampire Diaries

CW’s Vampire Diaries has added some heat to the show, as TV Guide is reporting that Arielle Kebbel has joined the cast. The former Gilmore Girl is set to appear on the seventh episode which should air on October 29th.

According to the report, Kebbel will play “”Lexi”, Stefan’s “oldest and best vampire friend. Stefan is played by Paul Wesley. Kebbel also had roles in The Grudge II, American Pie: Band Camp, John Tucker Must Die and The Uninvited.

Vampire Diaries airs on Thursdays at 8pm. It stars Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, and Ian Somerhalder. The show is written and produced by Kevin Williamson, and based on the novels of L.J. Smith.
