NBC’s Chuck has been busy with casting announcements for its next season, recently adding Kristin Kreuk and Brandon Routh to the fold. Now, EW is reporting that Angie Harmon, late of Women’s Murder Club, will also be appearing on Chuck.

According to the report, Harmon will play the role of “Sydney”, a spy who is after Captain Awesome! Harmon was the bright spot in a the aforementioned Women’s Mystery Club, a show that I thought was otherwise a snoozer and rather haphazard for it to be based on existing material. I think she was pretty appealing as a lead despite the material. In June, we also reported that Mini Anden would be back for the next season.

From in danger of cancellation, to being the show I want most to return, and as quickly as possible!
