More Volturi images from Twilight New Moon

Yesterday I got to the Michael Sheen image, but I was unaware of incredibly annoying tactic of releasing images from the same publicity folder to 47 different sites was in play. Thus, yesterday I missed the other releases of the images of Dakota Fanning’s Jane (MySpace), Jamie Campbell Bower’s Caius (Moviefone), Cameron Bright’s Alec (MTV), Christopher Heyerdahl’s Marcus (Examiner). I can understand a (possibly good) film trying to to get exposure like Shane Acker’s 9 doing this, bit it’s pretty much a given that New Moon doesn’t need to do this, as the fans are fanatics already. So, for the people (and my own greater glory) the Volturi are below, and I also reposted the Sheen images for completist’s sake.

I will say that I tend to find the supernatural or attempts at horror in promos to be pretty low budget/not effective for such a lucrative franchise, and just showing regular Ashley Greene is much more impressive, but I guess the fans dig this type of stuff, so more power to them. Remember that in July we got this odd Volturi (business card?) image as well. I don’t know, as an outsider, the promo material isn’t stuff that I find particularly compelling–but maybe I’m just old.

Twilight: New Moon is set to hit theaters on November 20th and is an adaptation of the second novel by Stephenie Meyer of the same name. It returns Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, Ashley Greene, and Edi Gathegi reprising their roles from the first film.
