Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet) Back on Lost

I’m not sure where it’s originating (as several sites are reporting it, but none are quoting a source, but all of them using the exact same words-I first saw it at SciFiWire) from but reportedly yesterday at the Television Critics Association press tour, Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet on Lost) stated that she would be back on the show for its sixth and concluding season.

“Yes, I will actually be back on Lost,” she said. “I can’t say whether I’m dead or not, but as in all things in Lost, it’ll be fairly tricky.”

As Lost fans know this was very relevant question considering how last season’s finale ended and due to Mitchell’s role in the upcoming V. To that, Mitchell said:

“my [V] producers have said it’s all right, so that’s good.”

I’m not sure If was ever entirely sold on the Sawyer/Juliet relationship, but I do love the character, and even going back to the beginning when they inserted her into a more central role in the show, I was amazed at how seamless the writers of the show (and obviously her performance) were able to make it.

Can’t wait for Lost!
