SDCC – 9-minute Preview of AMC’s The Prisoner
News, Television | Jay Tomio | July 25, 2009 at 1:58 amSDCC unveiled a pretty lengthy teaser of AMC’s forthcoming remake of the classic ’60s SF series that starred the late Patrick McGoohan. We posted previous teasers for The Prisoner in March, but now we get a lengthy 9-minute look at the show.
There has been some other looks at this show between this and what I posted previously, but honestly even with the star power here it looks a bit dull to me. I’ll definitely give it a shot though.
The Prisoner will be a six episode miniseries and star James Caviezel as number 6 and Ian McKellen as Number 2. The cast also includes Ruth Wilson (Number 313), Lennie James (Number 147) and Jamie Campbell Bower (Number 11-12, the son of Mckellen in the show). It’s set to be released in November, and airing on consecutive nights.
