Monique Ganderton in Smallville

Rather late on this, but I’m actually oddly fascinated with how they are going to end this series. I wonder if recent season have skewed just how (I think) was awesome this series was when it began (consider the timing of it). When Smallville returns for its 9th season, with it will come Monique Ganderton, freshly cast to play the role of ‘Alia’, a “beautiful, sexy femme fatale assassin with mysteriously intimate ties to Clark and Krypton.”

You may have seen Ganderton in Supernatural and she’s set to be in the forthcoming King of Fighters and Ganderton has previously done stunts for productions like Watchmen, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassu, Battlestar Galactica, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, and much, much more. This will actually be a return to Smallville for Ganderton who previously appeared as a stunt double on the show.

Smallville returns for its 9th season with Savior, which will air on CW September 25, 2009.
