First Look – Gemma Arterton in Clash of the Titans

Thus far the only character images we’ve seen from Clash of the Titans have been shots of Sam Worthington as Perseus. Today, we get our first look at Gemma Arterton’s character in the film, the demi-goddess Io.

Io is not a character found in the original film, but in this version she will reportedly be the ‘love interest’ of Worthington’s character.

I love me some Gemma Arterton and I really want to watch all three of the forthcoming movies she’s in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, and of course Clash of the Titans. I also think she – like the other members of the cast – somehow performed well in what was still a disappointing film in Quantum of Solace (as Strawberry Fields).

Clash of the Titans is set to be released on March 26, 2010 and is directed by Louis Leterrier.
