New Doctor Who Assistant is Karen Gillan

It’s being reported that Karen Gillan will be next assistant for Doctor Who (Matt Smith), taking the role that has recently been held by Billie Piper, Kylie Minogue, Catherine Tate and Freema Agyeman.

She previously played a role in last season’s The Fires Of Pompeii, but her name in the new series is as of yet not announced. The show begins filming this Summer and will air this Spring.

Why would you replace David Tennant with Matt Smith, that is just, absolutely bonkers.
But i hope that the new actors somehow make it worth watching.
