Random House has made available 5 novels for you to download for free.

They include His Majesty’s Dragon by Naomi Novik, Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb, Red Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson, Blood Engines by T.A Pratt, and Settling Accounts: Return Engagements by Harry Turtledove.

What I like about these are that they are no-hassle, no bull-shit downloads. No signing up for anything, no giving information. Free is free, and the best free is convenient.
