Big Bang Theory extended through 2010-2011
News, Television | Jay Tomio | March 18, 2009 at 6:23 pmCBS has announced that Big Bang Theory will be around for at least a couple more years.
I’m pretty pleased about this. I enjoy the show, and if I sit here and list the shows that I try not to miss, the half-hour variety are endangered species. This is good news.
CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler said:
“Our collaboration with Warner Bros. and Chuck Lorre for these two series has lead to great entertainment for television audiences and has been very good business for CBS,” said CBS Entertainment president Nina Tassler. “With these shows firmly in place, CBS is well-positioned for more comedy success in the years ahead.”
The other show noted is Two and a Half Men, which I’m rather indifferent on.

Big Bang is a riot – I would totally date Sheldon. Smart guys rock.
I enjoy the show, even though it’s kind of hitting a lull for me. It’s not lesser, but seems to be that stage where I’m wondering in what direction they can take it to keep it fresh and dynamic. I’m glad they will have the time to explore!
I like this show a lot too although, I also notice a slight slacking off in quality. BETTER OFF TED looked semi-promising. Detest Two and a Half Men-the meaning of the word smarmy.
